Softball Preview: South East Jaguars vs. Legacy Tigers
For the second straight game, South East will face off against Legacy. A feisty cat fight will be fought as South East Jaguars challenge Legacy Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. South East is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak.
South East fell victim to Legacy and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 15-0. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Jaguars were not able to get on the board.
For Legacy's part, Savannah Medina made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). Medina has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
In other batting news, Legacy let Alissa Andon and Priscilla Medina run wild.
