Clinton came tearing into Wednesday's match with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Pender Patriots as they made off with a 6-2 win. Considering Clinton have won 12 contests by more than two goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Pender with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Holden Spell (2), Emilson Marcia (2), Chris Zelaya, and Nelson Guerrero.

Clinton's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Pender, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Clinton will be taking part in a tournament against Pine Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pender, they will challenge Heide Trask at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
