Volleyball Recap: Mead Mavericks vs. Broomfield Eagles        
        
		
             Mead had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over the Broomfield Eagles.
 Mead walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-21, 25-14,  25-16.
  Hailey Hall paced Mead's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hall got some help from 
 Cailin Hall and her 19 assists. Finally, 
 Elena Gomez kept Mead's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.
 Mead has  been performing  well recently as they've  won ten of their last 12 matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record  this season. As for Broomfield, their loss  ended  a  seven-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 18-4.
 Mead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-1  victory against Longmont on the 29th. Broomfield has also  already played their next game,  a  3-0  win against Centaurus on the 29th.
