Soccer Game Preview: Oscar Smith vs. Hickory

Oscar Smith is 0-6-1 against Hickory since March of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tigers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Oscar Smith comes in on five and Hickory on three.

Oscar Smith is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Norview an 11-0 shutout last Friday. It was an even better day for Trenten Jefferson as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, it was close, but last Thursday Hickory sidestepped Maury for a 3-2 victory. That's two games straight that Hickory have won by just one goal.

Oscar Smith's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those five games. As for Hickory, their win bumped their record up to 4-2-2.
