Barren County is 10-0 against Monroe County since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Barren County Trojans will square off against the Monroe County Falcons at 6:00 p.m. Barren County will be looking to extend their current 12-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Barren County got the win against Greenwood by a conclusive 60-35. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten matches by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Monroe County challenged Campbellsville on Tuesday. Monroe County came out on top against Campbellsville by a score of 63-54. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.

Monroe County has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.7 points per game. As for Barren County, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Barren County strolled past Monroe County in their previous meeting on January 13th by a score of 65-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for Barren County since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
