Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clay City). Everything went their way against the White River Valley Wolverines on Thursday as they made off with a 16-3 victory. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Clay City and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for White River Valley, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clay City will challenge West Vigo at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eels will need to watch out since the Vikings have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups. As for White River Valley, they will face off against Shakamak at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
