After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mark Keppel, Bell Gardens was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Schurr Spartans. The win continues a trend for the Lancers in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won eight in a row.

One reason for the win was Bell Gardens' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, 25-11.

Bell Gardens' victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 18-14. As for Schurr, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-18.

As of now, neither Bell Gardens nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
