Basketball Recap: Deer Park Comes Up Short

Deer Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Lakeside Eagles, falling 65-36. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stags this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 55-36 back in December of 2024.

Deer Park's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Lakeside, they pushed their record up to 6-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Deer Park will host Pullman at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pullman knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Deer Park likes a good challenge. As for Lakeside, they will head out on the road to take on Timberlake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
