St. Petersburg Catholic's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They blew past the Indian Rocks Christian Eagles 8-0. The Barons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Indian Rocks Christian from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Issac Weidner led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

With the win, St. Petersburg Catholic broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 11-6-1. As for Indian Rocks Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11-1.

St. Petersburg Catholic has already played their next contest, a 2-2 loss against Berkeley Prep on the 23rd. As for Indian Rocks Christian, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Keswick Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th. Keswick Christian's last four games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
