Baseball Recap: Italy Comes Up Short

Italy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Avalon Eagles, falling 14-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Gladiators have suffered against the Eagles since April 21, 2017.

Italy's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Avalon, they now have a winning record of 6-5-1.

Looking ahead, Italy will welcome Frost at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Avalon, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cross Roads at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
