Basketball Recap: Billings Comes Up Short

After flying high against Fair Play last Monday, Billings came back down to earth. The Billings Wildcats came up short against the Miller Cardinals on Wednesday, falling 72-50. The Wildcats lost against the Cardinals in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 53-52 score last time.

Billings' defeat dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Miller, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Billings has already played their next game, a 57-18 victory against Niangua on the 17th. As for Miller, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-54 win against Southwest on the 17th.
