It was a good run, but Berry unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Brilliant Tigers by a score of 2-1. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 4-3.

Berry now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Brilliant, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-7.

Looking ahead, Berry will host Lamar County at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Brilliant, they will square off against Phillips at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers are facing the Bears at the right time seeing as the Bears are stuck on a 16-game losing streak.
