Soccer Game Preview: Delta Charter vs. Livonia

The Delta Charter Storm will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the Livonia Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Delta Charter is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Leesville on Saturday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 5-5 draw. Considering Delta Charter's offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Meanwhile, Livonia came up short against Beau Chene last Thursday and fell 4-2. One reason for the loss might be Livonia's aggressive play style: Liam Bayoumi and Diego Gomez were both handed yellow cards.

With that draw, Delta Charter's record moves to 0-2-1. As for Livonia, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Delta Charter suffered a grim 9-2 defeat to Livonia in their previous meeting back in January. Can the Storm avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
