Softball Recap: Bowie Bulldogs vs. Lehman Lobos
Bowie won the last time they faced Lehman and things went their way on Friday too. The Bowie Bulldogs walked away with a 6-1 win over the Lehman Lobos.
Bowie got a great performance from Micah Villa as she tossed five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Villa has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, Valeria Feeney and Josie Busceme did most of the damage at the plate: Feeney went 2-for-3 with five RBI and one double, while Busceme scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. Those five RBI gave Feeney a new career-high. Another player making a difference was CiCi Alvidrez, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.
Bowie kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lehman only managed six hits.
Bowie now has a winning record of 5-4-1. As for Lehman, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5.
Coming up, Bowie will square off against Del Valle at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lehman, they will welcome Lake Travis at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Lake Travis' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so Lehman's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
