Baseball Recap: Radford Takes a Loss

Radford fell victim to Carroll County and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Cavaliers, falling 13-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bobcats in their meetings with the Cavaliers: they've now lost seven in a row.

Radford's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11-1. As for Carroll County, they pushed their record up to 18-2 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Radford will square off against rival Floyd County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Carroll County is set to challenge their familiar foe Patrick County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Cavaliers 1.8, the Cougars 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
