Mullen is 8-2 against Twin Loup since January of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Mullen Broncos will head out on the road to take on the Twin Loup Wolves at 5:30 p.m. Mullen is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

It looked like the Kentucky Derby when Mullen faced off against Gordon-Rushville on Friday. Mullen took a 56-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Gordon-Rushville.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ben Werner, who went 6 of 8 from beyond the arc en route to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Alex Werner, who posted nine points.

Meanwhile, Twin Loup hadn't done well against Mullen recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Twin Loup took down Mullen 47-31. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wolves.

Twin Loup's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-5. As for Mullen, their loss dropped their record down to 5-7.

Mullen lost to Twin Loup on the road by a decisive 47-31 margin when the teams last played on Tuesday. Can Mullen avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
