Jaylee Vanmeter posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, she produced her best game of the campaign: she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off four hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
