Resurrection Christian strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the Brush Beetdiggers with a sharp 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Resurrection Christian was: they took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-12, 25-15.

Among those leading the charge was Blake Coors, who had 15 digs and two aces.

Coors wasn't the only good servers: Resurrection Christian was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Resurrection Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-0. As for Brush, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.

Coming up, after both having extra time off, Resurrection Christian and Eaton will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brush, they have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Wray on the 18th.
