Baseball Recap: Eldred Gets the Win

While Eldred's win against Livingston Manor wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Yellowjackets skirted past the Wildcats 6-5. The Yellowjackets haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Mason Tice was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Austin Spannos, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Eldred's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Livingston Manor, their record is now 3-5.

Looking ahead, Eldred will take on Tri-Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Livingston Manor, they will square off against Chapel Field Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
