15 must be Potlatch's lucky number: they beat Lapwai with that score not once but twice on Thursday. The Loggers beat the Wildcats by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 15-5. The Loggers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 contests by six runs or more this season.

Potlatch's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Lapwai, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Potlatch will take on Colfax at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Loggers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Lapwai, they will square off against Kendrick at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Wildcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
