Basketball Recap: Ma'ori Henderson Key Part of a Team Effort in Stars Win

Mountain View Prep hasn't had quite the year their fans were hoping for to this point, but back-to-back wins may be a sign of good things to come. They walked away with a 55-48 win over the Woodruff Wolverines on Friday.

Mountain View Prep got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ma'Ori Henderson out in front who went 6 of 14 en route to 15 points and three steals. Henderson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Bryson Drummond, who posted 12 points and four steals.

Mountain View Prep's record is now 5-9. As for Woodruff, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Mountain View Prep and Carolina International will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. One thing working in Carolina International's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four games. As for Woodruff, they are taking a road trip to take on Chapman at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
