Softball Recap: First Flight Extends Winning Streak to Seven

First Flight had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Pasquotank County on Thursday. The Nighthawks' pitcher stepped up to hand the Panthers a 10-0 shutout. The Nighthawks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by ten runs or more this season.

Molly Richards and Kylie Vann did most of the damage at the plate: Richards went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Vann went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Another player making a difference was Avery Winslow, who earned one RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
