Volleyball Recap: Hammond Comes Up Short

Hammond was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Mandeville Skippers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tornadoes of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-19, 25-15.

Hammond's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Mandeville, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Coming up, Hammond will square off against Northshore at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mandeville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Archbishop Hannan on the 10th.
