Last Thursday, Dunbar took their match at home with ease, bagging a 74-14 win over Douglass.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 99-61, which was the final score in Aberdeen's tilt against Loyola Blakefield on Thursday.
Aberdeen's defeat came about despite a quality game from DARION PARRIS, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds. The match was PARRIS's sixth in a row with at least ten points. JUSTIN FRANKLIN was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Dunbar pushed their record up to 1-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. As for Aberdeen, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Dunbar came up short against Aberdeen in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, falling 58-54. Thankfully for Dunbar, Tylan Bass (who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 2 assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
