Volleyball Recap: Family Christian Warriors vs. Angleton Christian Warriors
Family Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Angleton Christian Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Family Christian of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-20, 25-18.
Family Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Angleton Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Family Christian will welcome Faith Academy of Freestone at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Angleton Christian, they will challenge Divine Savior Academy - Sienna at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
