Basketball Recap: Legacy Comes Up Short

Legacy played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were beaten by the Central Cobras 60-15. The Lions were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-8.

Jimmeana Labbe was Legacy's leading scorer, having posted six points. Esther Sylvain held things down on the boards with six rebounds.

Central's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was CHAUNCIONA DAVIS, who posted 12 points. Another player making a difference was ARIAH STEPLIN, who had 11 points.

Legacy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Legacy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on South Fork at 7:00 p.m. on December 4. As for Central, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Palm Beach Lakes at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
