Basketball Game Preview: Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots vs. Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles

The Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots will head out to square off against the Mt. Bethel Christian Academy Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Mount Pisgah Christian will be strutting in after a victory while Mt. Bethel Christian Academy will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with 16 defeats in a row dating back to last season, Mount Pisgah Christian turned things around against The Weber School on Thursday. They secured a 54-50 W over the Rams.

Meanwhile, Mt. Bethel Christian Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 54-41 to Wesleyan. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Eagles came into the game with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 117th, while the Wolves are ranked 434th).

Mt. Bethel Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-15.

Mount Pisgah Christian didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Mt. Bethel Christian Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 67-63 victory. Will Mount Pisgah Christian repeat their success, or does Mt.
