Basketball Recap: Triangle Math & Science Beats River Mill for Their Fourth Straight Win

Triangle Math & Science won the last time they faced River Mill and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Triangle Math & Science Tigers enjoyed a cozy 40-21 win over the River Mill Jaguars. The victory was familiar territory for the Tigers who have now won four contests in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Triangle Math & Science to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noor Rana, who posted 21 points in addition to six boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave Rana a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sanjana Vanukuri, who had eight points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Triangle Math & Science is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.6 points per game. As for River Mill, they dropped their record down to 3-17 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Triangle Math & Science will challenge Chatham Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chatham Charter will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Triangle Math & Science surely won't give up without a fight.
