Lake got themselves on the board against Woodmore on Friday, but Woodmore never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Wildcats. The result was nothing new for the Flyers, who have now won 11 matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Lake is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games.
