Volleyball Recap: London Extends Winning Streak to Three

London had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They came out on top against the Seguin Matadors by a score of 2-0. The Pirates have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Matadors, too.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-20.

Gisele Morales and Danica Rushlow certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Morales had 14 assists and eight digs, while Rushlow had seven digs and one assist. Morales is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

London's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Seguin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-7.

Coincidentally, London and Seguin will both be playing Davenport the next time they take the court. The Matadors will head out to face the Wolves at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Pirates will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
