Softball Preview: Elberta Warriors vs. Daphne Trojans

The Elberta Warriors will head out on the road to challenge the Daphne Trojans at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Elberta comes in on four and Daphne on 28.

In Thursday's second game, everything went Elberta's way against LeFlore as Elberta made off with an 18-3 victory.

Elberta let Blakely Hooper and Brooklyn Ward loose on the outfield. Hooper went 2-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and a triple, while Ward scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Hooper hasn't dropped below three RBI for three straight games. Lynleigh May was another key contributor, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Daphne put the finishing touches on their 14th blowout victory of the season on Thursday. They put the hurt on Foley with a sharp 13-1 win.
