Flag Football Preview: Del Oro Golden Eagles vs. Granite Bay Grizzlies
Del Oro is a perfect 6-0 against Granite Bay since September of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Golden Eagles will square off against the Grizzlies at 5:45 p.m. Del Oro's offense hasn't had much luck over their past four contests, but Thursday's matchup will give them a chance to turn things around.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Del Oro turned things around against Rocklin on Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 13-12 photo finish over the Thunder. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

She has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last six times she's played. Hernberger got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Granite Bay got themselves on the board against Davis Sr. on Tuesday, but Davis Sr. never followed suit. They blew past the Blue Devils, posting a 45-0 win. Considering the Grizzlies have won three games by more than 28 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Granite Bay's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Del Oro, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Del Oro didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Granite Bay in their previous meeting back in September, but they still walked away with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Golden Eagles since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
