MaxPreps Top 25 Regional High School Football Computer Rankings: South Region

Ensworth (Nashville, Tenn.) downed previous No. 5 Brentwood Academy (Tenn.) to jump from No. 22 to No. 8 in this week's MaxPreps South Region Football Computer Rankings.

Brentwood Academy dropped to No. 10 with the loss.

Four new teams entered the rankings this week, led by Hoover (Ala.), which entered at No. 17. Other newcomers included Ponchatoula (La.) at No. 20, American Heritage (Delray Beach, Fla.) at No. 22 and Clinton (Miss.) at No. 25.

The regional rankings are based on the MaxPreps Computer Rankings. The South region includes teams from Florida, Tennessee, Maryland, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, Washington D.C., Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
