Volleyball Recap: Menomonee Falls Comes Up Short

After flying high against Wauwatosa West on Wednesday, Menomonee Falls came back down to earth. The Phoenix fell 2-0 to the Hamilton Chargers on Saturday. The Phoenix have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Menomonee Falls' offense was headlined by Sam Barkimer and Brayden Rivera, who picked up three kills apiece. They got some help from Ben Kuhn and his five assists.

Menomonee Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 15-12. As for Hamilton, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-5 record this season.

Coincidentally, Menomonee Falls and Hamilton will both be playing Westosha Central the next time they take the court. The Phoenix will head out to face the Falcons at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Chargers will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
