Baseball Recap: Raymond Central Takes a Loss

Raymond Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Mount Michael Benedictine Knights, falling 8-2.

Raymond Central saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dawson Potter, who went 1-for-3 with one run. Wyatt Jelinek was another, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base.

Raymond Central's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Mount Michael Benedictine, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Raymond Central nor Mount Michael Benedictine have any future games scheduled.
