San Marin came tearing into Tuesday's contest with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Marin Catholic Wildcats get on the board and left with a 4-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Mustangs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Not much got past Sean McGrath, who gave up just five hits and racked up six Ks to keep Marin Catholic off the board. McGrath has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Hunter Uriarte was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Daniel Rolovich was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.

San Marin pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. A key ingredient in that success has been their performance when it comes to strikeouts: they averaged an imposing nine strikeouts in those games compared to only 3.8 in the others. As for Marin Catholic, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

San Marin will have a chance to go back-to-back against Marin Catholic: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
