Football Recap: Belvidere Runs Past Boylan Catholic + How To Watch

Belvidere hadn't done well against Boylan Catholic recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Bucs came out on top against the Titans by a score of 37-28. For the Bucs, this counts as revenge for the 57-21 victory the Titans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

It was another big night for Nic Alvarez, who rushed for 187 yards and three scores while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Those 187 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Demetrious Taborn, who gained 111 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Belvidere was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 278 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Belvidere and bumps their season record up to 2-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.5 points over those games. As for Boylan Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
