Baseball Game Preview: Anna Rockets vs. Russia Raiders

Anna is 2-8 against Russia since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Rockets will host the Raiders at 5:00 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Anna 3.9, Russia 4) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Anna managed to slip by Indian Lake the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Rockets came up short against the Lakers on Saturday, falling 9-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Rockets have suffered since April 13, 2024.

Meanwhile, Russia came into Saturday's game having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Tecumseh on Saturday, sneaking past 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Raiders have posted since March 28th.

Anna's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Russia, their win bumped their record up to 14-8.
