Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only St. Bernard walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 97-41 victory over the Fairfield Prep Jesuits. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 games by 20 points or more this season.

The win (which was St. Bernard's eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 82.0 points over those games. As for Fairfield Prep, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-10.

Looking ahead, St. Bernard will take on Staples on Thursday. Staples knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight matches -- so hopefully St. Bernard likes a good challenge. Fairfield Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
