Basketball Recap: Richland Takes a Loss

Richland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 70-20 loss at the hands of the Crocker Lions. The matchup marked the Bears' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Richland's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Crocker, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Richland will take on Licking at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Licking's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups. Crocker has already played their next contest (against Niangua), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
