Football Recap: North Henderson Knights vs. Hendersonville Bearcats
North Henderson kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 20-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hendersonville Bearcats. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in August of 2023.
North Henderson's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged three passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of Brody Mcmillan and Eli Blanton. Mcmillan didn't just play on offense: he also made six total tackles and defended a pass in addition to snagging two interceptions.
The critical scores for Hendersonville came from JaRon Ward and Javanni Suber.
North Henderson will take on Rosman at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hendersonville, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against West Henderson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
