Volleyball Game Preview: Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs vs. Colonial Christian Patriots

The Archbishop Carroll Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Colonial Christian Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Archbishop Carroll took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Pinecrest Glades Academy with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Colonial Christian beat Westwood Christian 3-1 on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Colonial Christian got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the second set. The final score came out to 25-23, 28-30, 25-22, 25-21.

Archbishop Carroll's win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-1. As for Colonial Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Archbishop Carroll came out on top in a nail-biter against Colonial Christian in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. Will Archbishop Carroll repeat their success, or does Colonial Christian have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
