Volleyball Recap: Wilbur-Creston-Keller Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Almira-Coulee-Hartline on Tuesday, Wilbur-Creston-Keller came back down to earth. The Wildcats lost 3-0 to the Oakesdale Nighthawks on Saturday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Nighthawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Wilbur-Creston-Keller was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-11, 25-19.

Rocksie Timentwa paced Wilbur-Creston-Keller's offense, picking up eight kills. Timentwa got some help from Callie Cousins and her 21 assists. Finally, Sina Nelson kept Wilbur-Creston-Keller's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Wilbur-Creston-Keller's loss dropped their record down to 4-2-1. As for Oakesdale, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
