Soccer Game Preview: Venice vs. Lemon Bay + How To Watch

The Venice Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Lemon Bay Manta Rays at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Venice's offense. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Parrish Community last Thursday.

Lemon Bay had taken Key West down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Saturday. The Manta Rays lost 3-0 to the Conchs. Lemon Bay have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Venice's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2-2. As for Lemon Bay, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Venice was able to grind out a solid win over Lemon Bay in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, winning 4-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Indians since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
