Basketball Recap: Alexander Takes a Loss

Alexander was the 58-55 winner over Powers Lake/Burke Central when they last played one another back in January of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. Alexander lost 76-53 to Powers Lake/Burke Central on Friday. Alexander has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alexander's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Powers Lake/Burke Central, the win was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alexander will challenge Tioga at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Powers Lake/Burke Central, they will face off against Stanley at 7:00 p.m. on February 8th.
