Volleyball Game Preview: Albany Cougars vs. Sonoma Valley Dragons

The Albany Cougars will square off against the Sonoma Valley Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Albany is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Bentley by a score of 3-1.

Albany walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The final score came out to 25-13, 25-18, 21-25, 27-25.

Meanwhile, Sonoma Valley entered their tilt with California Crosspoint on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Rams.

Sonoma Valley's win bumped their record up to 14-11. As for Albany, their victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-14.
