West Warwick entered their tilt with Toll Gate on Friday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Titans. The result was nothing new for the Wizards, who have now won five matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Joe Riviera was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs and one double. That double was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Jair Blanco, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI.

West Warwick always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .531. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Toll Gate only posted an OBP of .296.

West Warwick pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Toll Gate, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. West Warwick will challenge Johnston at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wizards are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Toll Gate, they will take on Chariho at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
