Passers beware: Carlos Munoz came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made four total tackles, helping propel Channel Islands past Santa Clara by a score of 42-7. We hope Munoz's good effort is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Munoz and Channel Islands will be playing in front of their home fans against Grace at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers will enter the matchup having just beaten Nordhoff, so the Raiders will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
