Greeley Central is 8-2 against Northridge since January of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Greeley Central Wildcats just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Northridge Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Greeley Central is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Timnath on Thursday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Greeley Central was beaten by Timnath 63-31. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 269th, while the Cubs are ranked 114th).

Meanwhile, Northridge came up short against Weld Central on Monday and fell 66-57. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Friday (56), the Grizzlies still had to take the loss.

Northridge has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost nine of their last ten matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season. As for Greeley Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.

Greeley Central was able to grind out a solid victory over Northridge when the teams last played back in January, winning 62-49. The rematch might be a little tougher for Greeley Central since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
