Basketball Recap: Trevion Brown's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Huguenot over Cosby

Huguenot was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Cosby Titans, falling 54-34. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Huguenot lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Trevion Brown, who posted seven points along with five assists and five boards. That's the most assists Brown has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Horatio Kinlock, who had nine points.

Huguenot's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Cosby, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Huguenot will head out on the road to square off against Midlothian at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Huguenot is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season. As for Cosby, they will be playing at home against L.C. Bird at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. L.C. Bird will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Cosby surely won't give up without a fight.
